Reception in Allison Mansion sponsored by Marian University with presentation by IMS Historian Donald Davidson. Representatives from all previous historic marker communities invited to celebration. Remarks by Marian President Daniel Elsener and IMS President Doug Boles. Re-enactors of IMS Founders Arthur Newby, Frank Wheeler, Carl Fisher, and James Allison unveiled the marker.
