    Mr. Fletcher, president of the old Fletcher National Bank of Indianapolis that attempted to help finance the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, headed a company that bought the Remy Brothers Electric Company, founded by the Remy Brothers, in 1912 and operated the industry until 1916, when it was sold to General Motors. Mr. Fletcher made frequent trips here.
