Gene Hartley (1926–1993) was an American racecar driver from Roanoke, Indiana, who grew up in a racing family and competed in midget, sprint, and championship cars. He raced in the Indianapolis 500 ten times and became the 1959 USAC National Midget Series champion, earning numerous victories during his career. After retiring from driving, Hartley helped promote midget racing and was inducted into the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame in 1985.
