Steve, “The Bopper” Stapp with Pancho Carter and one of Stapp’s winning sprint cars.
On July 2nd at 6:30pm IRMA will be unveiling a historic marker honoring Steve. It’s open to the public, and will be at the Stapp shop, 108 N. Jefferson St, Brownsburg IN. Pancho Carter will be speaking as will USAC’s Pat Sullivan, and the “Voice of The 500,” Paul Page. A reception and refreshments will follow the ceremony.
